USC Pharmacy Kids’ Day at USC Health Sciences Campus on Friday, March 5

What:   

The USC School of Pharmacy Kids’ Day 2010. The annual event invites children from a local middle school to participate in all-day workshops and activities aimed at teaching them important lessons and encouraging them to consider careers in health care. This year, 150 students will be coming from Hollenbeck Middle School to learn about avoiding gangs, safe sex, healthy living, substance abuse and health professions. The theme of this year’s event is an “Ocean Odyssey”.

The event is being presented by the USC School of Pharmacy’s Skull & Mortar student group. Funding is being provided by Alberstons Sav-On, CVS, the Graduate and Professional students senate, and the USC School of Pharmacy.
