82nd Annual USC Alumni Awards

Top-Ranked Silicon Valley Venture Capitalist Mark Stevens, Former NFL Wide Receiver Curtis Conway and LGPA Professional Golfer Lizette Salas Among Prominent Trojans To Be Honored at 82nd Annual USC Alumni Awards

The USC Alumni Association will honor:

  • Mark Stevens, recipient of the Asa V. Call Alumni Achievement Award, USC’s highest alumni honor. Stevens, a USC Trustee, is a special limited partner and former managing partner at Sequoia Capital, a leading technology venture capital firm. A fixture on Forbes magazine’s annual Midas List of the top 100 venture capitalists, he is jointly responsible for some of the most spectacular investments in the high-tech industry, including Google, Yahoo! and YouTube.
  • Curtis Conway, Dalila Corral Lyons and Dickran Tevrizian, honoring individuals whose accomplishments reflect the range and quality of a USC education. Conway is a former NFL wide receiver and a current PAC—12 & NFL Networks studio analyst. Tevrizian is the first Armenian American federal judge in U.S. history. Corral Lyons is a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge.
  • Lizette Salas, recipient of the Young Alumni Merit Award, recognizing the outstanding achievements of alumni under the age of 35. Salas is a standout golfer on the LPGA Tour. JoAnne Rogers is the former chair of the Alumnae Coordinating Council and a past president of three USC alumnae groups.
  • JoAnne Rogers and Dr. George Stoneman, recipients of Alumni Service Awards, recognizing outstanding volunteer efforts on behalf of USC. Dr. Stoneman is the former president and a current member of the Keck School of Medicine of USC’s Salerni Collegium Alumni Association, one of the country’s biggest medical support and networking groups.
  • Leo and Ivy Chu, recipients of Honorary Alumni Awards, recognizing their dedicated efforts to extend USC’s global reach in the Pacific Rim. Leo and Ivy Chu are longtime USC supporters who have leveraged their connections to create and cultivate relationships between USC and universities across Asia.

More: Since 1932, the USC Alumni Association (USCAA) has paid tribute to distinguished members of the Trojan Family. The annual Alumni Awards is one of the USC Alumni Association’s premier events with all proceeds supporting USCAA programs and services. Past recipients of the Asa V. Call Alumni Achievement Award include astronaut Neil Armstrong, opera star Marilyn Horne and Hollywood icon John Wayne.
