MEDIA ADVISORY: USC breaks ground on $270 million Coliseum renovation

USC kicks off a game-changing renovation that honors the Coliseum’s rich history, while adding amenities to vastly enhance the visitor experience. Improvements include new seating, more legroom, a new concourse and press box, new and upgraded concession stands, and LED lighting. Wi-Fi is being improved throughout the venue. Construction of the Scholarship Club Tower on the Coliseum’s south side will provide suites, loge boxes and club seats.

About the renovation

 

 

This is part of USC’s commitment to the long-term viability of the Coliseum, a community treasure that hasn’t seen major renovations in over two decades. The two-year Coliseum renovation project, which officially kicks off Jan. 29, will create a first-class experience for fans and athletes, while preserving the integrity of this historic landmark. The $270 million renovation will be funded by sponsorships, gifts and donations. The iconic peristyle will be fully restored.
