MEDIA ADVISORY: USC, CETF release results of statewide survey on the digital divide

An examination of access to devices and broadband shows California passing a milestone, though some households remain offline at a critical time. USC experts and California Emerging Technology Fund leaders will hold an online press conference Tuesday to discuss the statewide survey results with reporters.

WHAT: LIVE online news conference covering results of pandemic era survey on connectivity in California, showing the digital divide among income and ethnicity lines.

The biennial survey is a key measure of connectivity in the state. This is the first survey conducted by USC in partnership with CETF. Additional results are slated for release in April.
