Vivien Villaverde is the incoming Project Director of the Treatment Services and Adaptation Center for Resiliency, Hope, and Wellness in Schools (TSA Center for Schools). TSA is a SAHMSA funded center supporting schools’ trauma-informed strategic transformation and program development to provide evidence-based prevention and early intervention services. She provides consultation and supports on the trauma-responsive transformation of school ecosystems. She assists in building service and programming capacity in districts and schools. She is a national trainer for Trauma-Informed Skills for Educators (TISE), Brain-based Psychological First Aid (PFA-LPC), Services to Students Exposed to Trauma (SSET), and BounceBack. Ms. Villaverde has partnered with multiple schools and districts in California, Alaska, Florida, Idaho, Nebraska, Nevada, N. Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Washington, Washington DC, and many more to train and consult to support trauma-responsive transformation. She collaborates with the California Department of Education in multiple projects. She has worked internationally partnering with Canada, the Philippine Department of Education, NGO’s, and the National Center for School Mental Health in South Korea to enhance trauma programming and responses to crisis and disasters.
